Avoid Late Night Caffeine As Well

This may seem obvious  but you will need to stay away from coffee, tea, hot cocoa, caffeinated sodas, and other drinks with caffeine, as well as some chocolate drinks. I’m especially careful at a restaurant when ordering decaf coffee after dinner ~ some of the wait staff will grab whatever pot is close to them, whether regular or caffeine, and serve it as decaf.  I laughingly let them know I will be back to haunt them if they serve me regular coffee.

I talk about high sugar foods later on in this post but I’d like to mention decadent chocolate desserts here. If you are really sensitive to caffeine, you’ll want to indulge in that chocolatey treat earlier in the day and not after dinner.
