Etiquette for Setting a Proper Table for Lunch
Lunch
There are many different napkin holders on the market
Your food looks much better served on a white plate
Always start your meal with utensils on the outside and work your way in
When setting a table, place 2 fingers at the end of the table and then start setting
Once served, place your napkin ring on the table, fold the napkin and place it in your lap
The cutting edge of the knife should face the plate
Never place the napkin on top of the plate
When getting up to go to the bathroom – never put your napkin on the seat. Put the napkin on your left hand side which says you are not through.
